Stainless steel - made to last...

Many years of experience in the construction of stainless steel pools have allowed Berndorf Bäderbau to develop a special construction technology that allows the flexible adaptation of pool shapes to the various ideas of modern designers and architects.

Construction of stainless steel pools

The final assembly of the pools is made of prefabricated parts, minimising on-site assembly work and making the assembly process very fast.

The construction of stainless steel pools consists mainly of complete pool wall sections (including overflow channels) up to 10 m long. Thanks to the use of vertical reinforcement ribs, the pool walls are resistant to bending. Side walls are anchored into reinforced concrete foundations or concrete strips.

Technology for swimming pool reconstruction

The installation of a stainless steel pool can in some cases be simplified to the lining of the walls of the original pool. Depending on the condition of the existing pool structure, the structural engineer will determine the optimum use and possible load. Together with our specialists, they will design the optimal way to build the new steel structure.

The last operation is the installation of pool attractions, such as stairs, seating benches, loungers, ladders and many more

The bottom of the pool is finally closed by laying stainless steel bottom plates and then welded. This closes the pool and creates a hermetic container. The bottom plates are already stamped in the production process with 3D naps in accordance with the applicable EU standards (EN 13451).

Other pool fittings, such as underwater reflectors, massage jets, suction and inlet equipment are sealed in the workshop. Before the pool parts are sent for assembly, they are subjected to a leak test. Under certain conditions, stainless steel attractions can be assembled on site.
